India is reassessing its trade ties with Pakistan

In the wake of a recent terror attack, India is reportedly evaluating its trade relationship with Pakistan, with a particular focus on curbing e-commerce exports.

While no official policy shift has been announced, insiders indicate that the government is considering tightening digital trade links, especially in sectors like textiles, handicrafts, and consumer goods that are often exported through online platforms.

True Disruptor: Print on Virtually Anything

VersiFlex™ eliminates the old dilemma of having to invest in multiple systems to support diverse materials. Its patented ink set and specially formulated transfer papers allow professionals to create vibrant, high-durability designs across a wide range of substrates—including those previously incompatible with sublimation alone.

What makes VersiFlex™ truly disruptive is how it unites the versatility of DTF, the durability of sublimation, and the expandability of DTG into one fluid workflow. For years, decorators have had to choose between these benefits—now, they’re available together.

Twelve years after Rana Plaza collapse, it is high time for legal protection for workers

Thursday, 24th April, marks twelve years since the collapse of the Rana Plaza building in Bangladesh. At least 1138 people died, the large majority of them garment workers in one of the five factories that the building housed. Although fashion brands professed in 2013 that this disaster would be a catalyst for change in their supply chains, actual progress has been limited to issues regulated by binding agreements.

Clean Clothes Campaign calls upon brands to stop making and breaking meaningless promises and commit to binding obligations.

AAFA

The American Apparel & Footwear Association responds to a 90-day pause and lowering of “reciprocal” tariffs, as well as additional tariffs placed on U.S. imports from China, announced by President Trump today.

Steve Lamar, President and CEO of AAFA, expressed concern over this minute-by-minute trade policy chaos:

"The on-again, off-again tariff policy is forcing companies to careen between chaos and costs. While we welcome this limited pause to give negotiators in the U.S. and dozens of trading partners a chance to hammer out sustainable outcomes, it is only a first step in a policy that needs to be more comprehensive, predictable, and durable if we want to encourage the kind of investments that will support more U.S. jobs.

These factories are owned by the firm Ontide, which was recently purchased by Korean multinational Creas F&C. For years prior to this, the factories operated under different ownership under the name Kukdong.
