Garment Technology Expo Pvt. Ltd. (GTE) and India Exposition Mart Ltd. (IEML) have recently announced a new exhibition, Lace & Trims Expo during the "Sewing Connections – Garment Industry Meet" held on July 11, 2025 , to enhance India's sourcing platform for garment components. The expo will be held as a co-located event with Garment Technology Expo (GTE) in three major cities: Ahmedabad, Delhi-NCR, and Bengaluru.
This new initiative "Lace & Trims Expo" will provide a dedicated B2B platform for trims and fashion elements, including laces, zippers, and embellishments collocated with GTE, that are crucial to design innovation. GTE Chairman Inderjit S. Sahni highlighted that this initiative will cater to the creative core of apparel making, complementing GTE's focus on machinery.

Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman of IEML, emphasized that the expo will connect innovation with fashion detailing, capitalizing on the growing importance of value-added design. This partnership builds on the strategic alliance between GTE and IEML, announced in June 2025, combining their expertise to create a robust trade platform for the industry.
