Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) successfully launched the inaugural Conference on Textiles in 2024. The event brought together industry leaders, policymakers, researchers, and artisans to deliberate on the sector’s future—embracing cutting-edge technologies, fostering sustainable practices, and preserving cultural heritage. The conference witnessed robust participation from eminent voices across the textile value chain.
Building on this success, we are excited to announce the 2nd Edition of the Conference, under the theme: ‘Advancing Indian Textiles: Innovation, Integration, and Impact’ scheduled to be held on Thursday 28 August 2025 at Hotel Radison BLU, Ludhiana, bringing together industry leaders, cutting-edge innovators, and high-growth SMEs under one roof.
This edition will focus on enabling the Indian textile sector to move up the value chain by embracing innovation and exploring high-growth areas such as technical textiles, performance fabrics, and other emerging segments. Sanjeev Arora, Hon’ble Industry Minister, Government of Punjab has been invited as Chief Guest for the Conference.
CII has extended an invitation to Rohit Kansal, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Textiles (Mot), Government of India, to grace the event.
