Focus: The great timely initiative was to promote India's GI-tagged handloom and handicraft products, as India has had a very rich heritage and culture since ancient times. The event was to set a business narrative in this important sector holding immense job creation potential that stressed expanding the scope of GI products from 'Gaon to Global.'

The event proudly witnessed the distribution of GI (geographical indication) certificates to 10 handpicked artisans from across the nation. Just to put it in context," India got its 1st ever product to receive Geographical Indication (GI) tag way back in 2004 in the form of Darjeeling Tea.
