On the occasion of hashtag#WorldEnvironmentDay, a multi-stakeholder workshop, “Circular Samvaad 2.0: Enhancing Circularity and Resource Efficiency in the Indian Textile Sector”, is being organised by GIZ India in collaboration with the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, under the EU-India Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy Initiative project on 5 June 2026 in hashtag#NewDelhi.
The workshop is being organised under the EU-India Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy Initiative project, co-financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN), and implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC).

Building on the dialogue and partnerships initiated during Circular Samvaad 1.0, this second edition aims to further strengthen collaboration among stakeholders from government, industry, academia, and partner organisations to advance discussions on hashtag#CircularEconomy, hashtag#ResourceEfficiency, hashtag#TechnologyNeeds, hashtag#jobs, hashtag#skills, and emerging opportunities in the Indian textile sector.
