Awareness program on Maximize the Export through FTAs and Govt. Schemes was organized successfully by the Textile Export Facilitation Centre (TEFC), Textiles Committee, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India at Hotel Marigold, Sitapura, Ind. Area, Jaipur on 25.06.2026 evening.
The program was graced by the Hon’ble Secretary, Textiles Committee, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, Shri Kartikay Dhanda as the chief guest. The President of AGES, Shri Dinesh Gupta General Secretary, AGES, Shri Siddharth Gadhaiya, and Mentor of AGES Shri. Rajeev Diwan graced as Guest of Honour. Distinguished Speakers from Office of Commissioner Industry and Commerce, MSME-DFO and Exporters, Industry Associations, and Stakeholders from various industry sectors Garments, Handloom and Handicraft sectors participated in large numbers.

The Chief Guest, Shri Kartikay Dhanda, Secretary, Textiles Committee, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India delivered the keynote address and highlighted the objectives of the Textile Export Facilitation Centre (TEFC). He emphasized the importance of enhancing textile exports through the effective utilization of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), export facilitation services, and various Government support mechanisms. He further highlighted Rajasthan's immense potential in the textile and apparel sector and encouraged manufacturers and exporters to make effective use of the opportunities available under FTAs and various Central and State Government schemes. He urged the industry to focus on quality, innovation, value addition, sustainability, and global competitiveness to enhance exports and strengthen the State's contribution to India's textile export growth.

Shri. J. Parameswaran, Deputy Director (EP&QA), Textiles Committee, Mumbai delivered a detailed presentation on Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). His presentation covered India's major FTAs, preferential tariff benefits, and practical strategies for maximizing exports to FTA partner countries.

Shri Tarun Bhatnagar, Assistant Director, MSME, highlighting on various schemes of the Ministry of MSME, including the benefits of Udyam Registration, collateral-free credit support, technology upgradation, entrepreneurship promotion, financial assistance, subsidies, and support services for MSMEs and textile enterprises and other measures aimed at strengthening the competitiveness and growth of textile MSMEs.
The awareness program witnessed the enthusiastic participation of nearly 100 representatives from textile manufacturing units, exporters, MSMEs, entrepreneurs, industry associations, and other stakeholders from across Rajasthan, reflecting the industry's keen interest in expanding exports through Government initiatives.
The program was organized by the Regional Office of the Textiles Committee, Jaipur and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Shri Vijay Babu Gaur, Quality Assurance Officer, Textiles Committee, who expressed his gratitude to the Chief Guest, Guests of Honour, distinguished speakers, participating departments, and all the delegates for making the program a grand success.
